The Moab Giants Dinosaur Park and Museum is open from 10 AM – 6 PM in the Spring through Fall every day except Wednesdays. However, beginning November 1st, during the Winter, the open hours will only be from 9 AM – 5 PM.

Dinosaur Trail

Travel back in time along a half-mile-long path lined with more than one hundred life-size replicas of local dinosaurs and their imprints! In addition to a breathtaking view of Arches National Park, La Sal Mountains, and Moab’s geologically renowned red rocks, the arid landscape offers a breathtaking panorama.

5D Prehistoric Aquarium

This virtual underwater expedition brings you face-to-face with some of the world’s largest and most dangerous creatures. Explore the prehistoric depths in one of the most exhilarating and eerie attractions at Moab Giants!

3D Theater

This theater introduces the universe’s early history, from the Big Bang Theory to the Age of the Dinosaurs. Get the full effect of creation and prehistoric life in 3D, and then see the open landscape where everything comes to life.

After the film, feel free to wander around and use the touchscreen terminals to gain insight into each exhibit and to play educational activities — technology is used extensively in this museum to facilitate discovery and interaction and to highlight regional paleontology.

Interactive Tracks Museum

The museum features observing windows that provide a glimpse into laboratories where scientists are conducting various research projects.

In the Tracks Museum exhibit, emphasizing fossil footprints and their impact on dinosaur science and geology, cutting-edge technology brings the past to life. You are encouraged to conduct your experiments by constructing fossilized footprints to learn how they were originally formed and preserved in stone. Discover the tales behind the imprints that these Giants left on the world.

Dig-It-Out Sites

At two separate locations along the trail are sandboxes with partial shade. Future paleontologists can practice their discovery skills by excavating dinosaur fossils from the dunes. 

Dino Playground

Children will enjoy this interactive dinosaur-themed playground. It consists of rock climbing, web apparatus, swings, and more! You can climb inside the enormous, tooth-filled maw of the T-Rex.

Dinosaur Footprints

While most of the tracks are reproductions of originals, there are a few original tracks in the boulders on display at the park. At Moab Giants, world-renowned paleontologists diligently expand this ever-evolving museum.

Giants Cafe

If you’ve worked up an appetite while hiking the trail and exploring the various museum exhibits, the on-site café offers a gratifying and sensible breakfast or lunch. No need to return to town as this dinosaur museum in Moab can satisfy your appetite. The menu features both regional specialties and international cuisine.
