Due to the stunning views and unique geology, the National Parks System has instituted a reserved entry time system in order to help address the crushing lines to enter Arches National Park. This system requires visitors to make a reservation ahead of time in order to guarantee a spot at the park. There are a limited number of reservations available each day, so it is important to book well in advance.

This system is a pilot program, so details may change, but for now, if you want to avoid making reservations or there is nothing available during your visit, you can still get into the park outside of peak times.

Reservations will not be required after 5 pm or before 6 am. from April 3rd through October 3rd. From October 4th – April 2nd, no reservations will be required.

Trip planning advice: Arches National Park is very popular and can fill up quickly, especially during the peak season. Plan to arrive early in the morning and try to car camp within the park if you would like a more serene camping experience.
